Beppino Occelli narrates the history of taste from the Langhe to the Alpine pastures in an interview with Linea Verde

Linea Verde, the Rai 1 television show that for over half a century has been telling the story of Italian agriculture and its excellence, the territory and the food and wine sector, has chosen to narrate the story of Beppino Occelli's taste by selecting the King of Butter and Cheese of Langa as the reference company for the production of quality cheeses in the Langa area.

For the episode on Cuneo and the Langhe to be broadcast on Rai 1 on Saturday 10th March at 12.30 pm, Beppino Occelli will be reporting directly from the Ancient Seasoning Cellars in Valcasotto, talking about his success story, starting with the award-winning Occelli butter, made from sweet centrifuged cream, and the cheeses of the Langa: From the Tuma Dla Paja, a creamy Langa tuma made from carefully selected sheep's and cow's milk, to the absolute novelties of 2021: Bianco di Langa and Bianco di Langa al Tartufo made from cow's and goat's milk and vegetable rennet, with a soft texture and delicious flavour, both of which were awarded the Quality Award 2021 for their quality by a jury of gourmet experts.

Beppino Occelli's milky way  then continues from the Langhe to the Alpine pastures, and Beppino describes the quality of Valcasotto cheese , which takes its name from the cheese village and, in keeping with ancient farming traditions, may be square or round in shape, but its unmistakable taste comes from top-quality raw cow's milk; this is why Valcasotto cheese  was also awarded the Quality Award 2021 by the jury of Italian gourmets.

In the end, Beppino Occelli wanted to amaze the Linea Verde audience by showing his "vault" of super-aged cheeses on planks made of various types of wood from fruit trees: real "dairy pearls" selected for gourmet restaurants and the best boutiques not only in Italy but all over the world.
