Coffee beans with Occelli® Butter

450g flour type 00
1 sachet of baking powder
175g Occelli® Butter
2 eggs
zest of 1 lemon
200g white chocolate
200 ml fresh cream
1 tablespoon instant coffee
2 cups coffee
1 cup granulated sugar to complete


Cream the Occelli® Butter with the sugar, add the eggs, grated lemon zest and then the flour sifted with the baking flour. Working the mixture, form some lengthened patties (about 40). Arrange them on the baking tray and make a vertical slit on each in order to recreate the typical slit on coffee beans. Lay the biscuits on the baking trays lined with greaseproof paper, well spaced, and bake at 180°C until golden brown then remove from the oven. Bring the cream to boil with the instant coffee, pour the mixture over the chopped chocolate and mix until nice and creamy. Fill the biscuits with the cream, joining them two by two, and dip them first in the coffee then in the granulated sugar, making sure they are completely coated. Leave to dry for a few hours before serving.
