Lasagne with Tuma dla Paja Occelli®
200 g of Occelli Tuma dla Paja® cheese
600 ml tomato sauce
1 garlic clove
some basil leaves
500 g lasagne sheet
700 ml béchamel sauce
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Extra virgin olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
Lasagne is the traditional family Sunday lunch dish: everyone loves it and it can be prepared in many ways. Here's how to make them even tastier with Occelli's Tuma dla Paja®!
Cut the Occelli Tuma dla Paja® into small cubes and keep it aside.
Chop the garlic and fry it in a little oil: then add the tomato sauce together with some chopped basil leaves. Cook for a few minutes and add salt to taste.
Blanch the lasagne sheets for a few minutes, then lay them on a towel to dry.
Now you can prepare the dish. "Douse the bottom of an oven dish with a little béchamel sauce and tomato sauce and arrange the layers as follows: lasagne, tomato sauce, diced Tuma dla Paja®, béchamel sauce and a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.
When you used up all the ingredients (make sure you finish with the béchamel and parmesan), bake in a preheated oven at 180°C, for about 20-30 minutes.
In this recipe we used tomato sauce (instead of the classic Bolognese lasagne sauce) to bring out the flavour of the Occelli cheese even more. If you prefer, you can also do without the sauce and make a delicious white lasagne.
